Primo estratto di “Music to Be Murdered By”, “Godzilla” ha debuttato alla 3ª posizione della Billboard Hot 100 nella pubblicazione del 1º febbraio 2020, grazie a 41,1 milioni di riproduzioni in streaming e 24000 copie digitali.
Si tratta di un brano contennte un record pazzesco che ha permesso al rapper di Detroit di entrare nel Guinnes World Record: Marshall Mathers è riuscito a pronunciare ben 11.3 sillabe al secondo, per un totale di 229 parole in 30 secondi. Precedentemente questo record apparteneva sempre allo stesso Eminem, con la canzone “Rap God” in cui pronunciava 9.36 sillabe al secondo.
La “Godzilla Challenge” è ancora aperta: provate a battere la velocità di Slim Shady in questa parte di brano e ricordate che dovrete pronunciare 229 parole in meno di 30 secondi.
